Dermot Butterfield
Dermot Butterfield has been involved in web development to some extent for almost 10 years. As a Consultant in the Public Services and Financial sectors he has many years experience in the development of dynamic web tools, sites & content meeting the strictest of web compliance in HTML and Accessibility.
Dermot has previously worked on the an Irish Government initiative covering their eGovernment strategy. Dermot has since worked on the Department of Education and Science and the NHS in Britain as a Java Spring Developer responsible for design and implementation.
This industry experience was what has lead to the vision for www.TomRed.net as over the years Dermot has gathered the problems both he and his colleagues have experienced and documented the solutions. The Tutorials
This section is dedicated to solving the issues that I have come across over the years as a Web Developer and Technology Consultant. The tutorial section contains solution and explanations on topics such as CSS, Javascript, Java & PHP along with solutions to developing with propriorty software.
Advertising
Most advertising on TomRed.net is handled by Google Adwords. Adwords allows businesses to advertise on any number of sites, including this one, regardless of the size of their budget. Ad campaigns can be set up to target based on keywords, geographical location of the visitor, and/or individual websites. They handle the most common sizes of ads and allow text, image or video.
